FARAJ, is a Gujarati word which means ‘DUTY’. The NGO registered as a public charitable trust is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, was established in June, 2002. The organization works closely with children, women and old age people. Various focus areas of this organization are Livelihood, skill development, health and education rights and community development initiatives among many others. It provides scholarships to underprivileged children, it helps differently abled children to lead a better life. FARAJ also helps widows to lead sustainable and self-reliant life.
The Trust is registered under IT act 1961, 80G(5) with number : E/15357/Ahmedabad. So the donation given to this trust is exempted under this section.

- A constant effort maker to bring the revolutionary changes in the growth of state’s agricultural products and in the income of state’s farmers by organizing various programs and festivals pertaining to horticulture and agriculture.
- The pioneer of water harvesting through the building of small ponds in the farms (khet-talavadi).
- A beneficiary to farmers and a person who is always keen to provide various inputs to the farmers related to agricultural issues so that it can augment their income.
- A person who initiated the water harvesting program at large scale and who availed soiled health card, farmer insurance plan, scientific agricultural instruments and innovations to the village level.
- Expedited and accelerated executional speed of the Saradar Sarovar Project- a lifeline of the Gujarat state so that each of the village from the state can get the potable as well as farming water.
- As a Son of Soil gave the dictum, “Let farmer earn dollar by sowing rupees”
- A person who played a major roll in the development of the Dholera (Bhal) region has been resulted in the largest airport of India and Dholera ‘SIR’ (which is under construction).

- For the first time, in order to stop the malpractice during 10th and 12th board exams, set up the CCTV cameras in almost 80,000 examination halls, across the state.
- After analyzing and empathizing the economic constraints of poor and middle class parents, passed a Fee Regulation Law in the Legislative Assembly for affordable fee structure.
- Initiated digital education in 3300 class rooms across the state.
- Arranged a system to provide tablets to 3.50 lakh students at the cost of just 1000 rupees.
- Passed a special resolution for the extra relaxation at the higher studies of sons / daughters of martyrs.
Praadityasinh Chudasama
Praadityasinh Chudasama is a Businessman by profession, but a humanitarian at heart. This nature of him comes to him from his family, who at all times are keen on helping those in need. The role of Praadityasinh Chudasama in the foundation is to manage, co-ordinate and execute the initiatives undertaken by FARAJ.
Krishnaba Chudasama
The back bone of the foundation and the women behind the success story of FARAJ, Krishnaba is a housewife. Being the positive thinker and benefactor, Krishnaba’s role in the foundation is that of a supporter and initiator. Her thoughts and ideas inspire and encourage Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and her family in all endeavours. Her main focus has always been Empowerment of women and she believes that “There is no tool for development more effective than the empowerment of women.”
Gayatriba Chudasama
Filled with new ideas, ingenuity and resourcefulness, Gayatriba is a home maker. This nature of her feeds the foundation with new ideas. Her enthusiasm, passion and vitality help FARAJ to carry out the most difficult tasks. Being a mother herself, she has a soft corner for kids. Her inclination and intentions to help the unprivileged kids are well founded and rock steady. She believes that “Our children are our greatest treasure. They are our future.”
